Once you list your home with me, you will get 100 percent of my attention. Although my fees are reduced substantially, the real estate services you will receive from me is NOT REDUCED.
Your home probably is the biggest investment you made. When it is time to enjoy your equity, you should be very carefull to keep a good portion of it to yourself rather than giving it to an agent who is most likely does not have as much experience and knowledge as I have. My sellers save substantial amount of commission paid upwards of $50,000.
You will hear these objection handling when you mention about going with a reduced fee broker.
"You get what you pay for": Why would that be if the listing agent you are hiring is competent, knowledgable, professional and his priority is your best interest? Why would he/she be any different just because they charge more for the same service? What is it that they do that a reputable discount broker cannot do? Bottom line, it all depends on the person you are hiring.. it is nothing but a cliche to convince you that you need to pay more to get more. Do not fall for it.
"Why would you list your home with Wallmart when you can list it with Nordstrom": Here is another talking point for the agent who wants to charge you more for the same results. In my 25 years career, I havent seen any Realtor who does not claim to be the best. Everyone of them are Nordstrom, and the rest are Wallmart. The arragance of putting down a Wallmart shopper is something I will never comprehend.
"Discount Realtors will not get you the highest sale price for your home" Listing agents rarely sell the homes they list. Today, most buyers search homes online through Zillow, Trulia, Realtor.com and other sites. As long as your home is effectively exposed to the potential buyers, you will get the highest price
